Hammerng snails to death? Isn’t that somewhat brutal? A songthrush in the garden and a visiting hedgehog would keep them under control and help in the fight against the decline in thrush and hedgehog numbers.

Hi David - do you know, I’ve never seen a live hedgehog all the time I’ve lived in England! I used to read about them in Enid Blyton stories…
